We have been excited to be parents together since high school. After years of infertility we began our adoption journey and can’t wait to meet our future child.
We are high school sweethearts, and for the last decade together we have dreamed of one day teaching our children how to roast a marshmallow, catch fish, and swim in the pond on Sage’s parents’ property. We spend as much time as we can up in northern Wisconsin hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and enjoying every season Wisconsin has to offer. When we are blessed with becoming parents through adoption, we hope for an open adoption. We would like to have an honest and caring relationship with you and want to work together to create a plan for a supportive, loving family with the child’s best interests at heart. We promise to cultivate love, kindness, openheartedness, and individuality. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
OUR STORY
We met on the school bus on Sage’s 1st day of kindergarten.
After a long friendship, we started dating at 17. Within months, we both knew we had found our soulmate, life partner, and the person we wanted to raise a family with. We got married at 21 and bought our home that we live in with our dog and 2 cats. We support, care, nurture, and love one another, and we both look forward to a lifetime of adventures together.

OUR HOME
Milwaukee is home to a summer full of festivals, fairs, cultural events, and summerfest.
We are only a few miles away from the Wisconsin State Fair grounds and we are excited to go every year. We are adventurous eaters and spend a lot of time at the exotic meat stand, trying new meats and insects! We love to get dressed up and go to the Bristol Renaissance Faire as much as we can every summer! During summertime, we will often be in our big backyard playing with our dog or having a bonfire while snacking on the mulberries we pick off our mulberry tree. In fall we spend a lot of time in our camper, staying in the woods up north or enjoying time with family. In winter, we like to snuggle on the couch in front of the fireplace while watching Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or Disney movies. When spring finally rolls around in Wisconsin, we are camper crazy! We spend as much time as we can camping, fishing, and being in nature.
OUR FAMILY
Both of our families love to play board games and card games. It can get competitive! We enjoy sharing a meal and sitting around the kitchen table to catch up. Sage and her two older brothers grew up spending all their free time at their parents’ property in Northern Wisconsin. We all visit the properties as often as possible, where we fish, hunt, camp, hike, and enjoy time together as a family. Jake’s dad is adventurous and is always looking for new activities to try and places to go. He brings the family together to do new things like escape rooms, duckpin bowling, wooden sign painting, and eating at unique restaurants.
Jake’s mom and stepdad live on a beautiful piece of land in the country. Jake has eight brothers and sisters; During the summer we zipline over the pond, cruise around on the ATVs, and spend time together around the fire. Whenever we visit we find it nearly impossible to put our baby niece and nephew down.

We will support them through any obstacles they may face and help them become the person they want to be. We will encourage them to try new hobbies, explore themselves, ideas, experiences, and foods.
