A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Born in Tanzania and raised in Berkeley, I lived in New York, London, and Rome, before settling in sunny LA.

Traveling was a gift passed on to me by my family and a bonding experience for us. I plan to continue that tradition. I cannot wait to show a child all that the world has to offer. 

I am passionate about the arts. I am a published writer. I also love taking photos. Whether it’s visiting a museum, going to movies or an outdoor concert (I love all kinds of music!), I surround myself with a variety of arts and culture. 

MY CAREER

I used to work in casting on Hollywood movies. Then I felt a pull to help people and changed careers to work for a foundation that supports charities. Now I work in diversity, helping people of color get executive jobs. 

I am lucky enough to work from home. My job allows me to have a flexible schedule and good work/life balance.  

MY LITTLE SLICE OF PARADISE

I live in a family-friendly neighborhood lined with palm trees.

I love that Los Angeles is a major city where exciting things happen, and we have beautiful nature everywhere.

My home has old Hollywood charm and lots of cheerful, bright light. I have a big front yard, where I can host friends and family. My nieces love to roll down my lawn. I’ll also see the neighbors’ sweet kiddos stop and play on it, too!

MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS

My family is very excited to support me physically, emotionally, and Aid financially.

There are many branches of my family tree that include parents who have known each other since childhood, a sister and brother, a dear aunt who loves to babysit, loving stepparents, as well as three stepbrothers. 

If I were to bring a child into my home, I wouldn’t struggle to provide childcare or to put them in after school activities like ballet, karate, or music lessons, if that’s what they want to do. 

I have a huge village of friends, of all cultures; many I have had since childhood. I spend a lot of time with my godchildren and friends’ kids. It’s joyful being around their curiosity, sweetness, and hope.

We don't know each other. But here’s what I do know about you already: by you being kind enough to read about me and consider this decision— you are brave, generous and you love this child. 

I would make sure that however you chose to be connected moving forward, your child would know you made this choice with love. I would raise them to have the amazing qualities that you have shown at such a challenging time.  

I promise to fill your child's days with adventures, provide a top education, surround them with a diverse and caring community, and most of all, give them great affection with unconditional love.
