We have always known that adoption would be part of our story, we even spoke about it as high-school sweethearts. There is no good way of explaining it but we always knew that we would build our family through adoption. We are finally at a point where we can make that a reality.
ABOUT US
We live in a quiet neighborhood in the state of Illinois, just outside of the city where we work.
One of the greatest joys of our lives has been becoming parents to our zany three year old Ezra. After we lost our baby two years ago and struggled to conceive, we took that as a sign to begin our adoption journey. We are hopeful that our dream to grow our family will come true.
We have grown up together, as a matter of fact we don’t remember a time without the other, funny enough, Brady came home from kindergarten and told his mom that he was going to marry Ashley one day, he was right. Ashley took a little bit longer to warm up to the idea but by high school she was just as hooked on him as he was on her. Ashley joined the Army right out of high school and when we learned that there was a high likelihood that she would be deployed we got married. Almost ten years later and we are inseparable, we are each others greatest teammates and confidants.

OUR HOME AND FAMILY
We live in a quiet little community just outside of the city where we work. We live in a cute blue house that is just the perfect balance of cozy and spacious. We are particularly fond of our fenced-in backyard which is great for playing and our fun little playroom. We love to be outside and there are plenty of activities around us that help us fill that need. One of our favorite community events is being involved in trunk-or-treat at our church. We always go way overboard on the theme and decorations. Sharing our family traditions with a new child will be such a joy. We would love to share our community and love for the outdoors.
Ezra is our biological child and he is 3-years-old, he is super sweet.
He loves puzzles and books and anything outside. He is absolutely jazzed about hopefully becoming a big brother. Ezra loves anything outdoors we are frequent visitors of our neighborhood park, if they had a frequent flyer program we would be platinum members.

Hobby: I love to knit!!! I have so much yarn sitting around for projects that I am convinced I will get to eventually.
I Can’t Live Without: Sugary snacks, I have an enormous sweet tooth!
Favorite Children’s Book: I’ll Love You Forever
Favorite Seasonal Activity: Winter is my favorite season so naturally I love to play in the snow!
My Perfect Day: Any day at Disney World with my family!
About Brady
Hobby: I love to garden anything from trees, vegetables, fruits, flowers, and houseplants.
Thing I Can’t Live Without: Coffee for both caffeine and enjoyment
Favorite Children’s Book: The Giving Tree or The Lorax
Place to Take a Child: The zoo, we love to see the animals especially the giraffes
Vacation Spot: I love anywhere outdoors we recently took a trip to Alaska and it was amazing.

We are a Christian family and we will raise our children to know and have a relationship with God in the same way we were both raised.
Coming from big families and having such strong connections with our siblings, we understand the importance of relationships. Your child will be surrounded by supportive and loving people. Our hope is to have an open adoption and to have a relationship that will work for all of us in the future.
