As a prospective single parent, I am fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive community of family, friends, and neighbors. I welcome an open adoption and, to the extent it is the best for everyone involved, want to include you in that community.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in a small town in outstate Minnesota.
I have one younger sister who was and continues to be my best friend. My parents are high school sweethearts that provided a loving and supportive home that allowed me to thrive. They encourage me to explore the world and find my passions while teaching me how to always work towards being the best version of myself.
I work as an attorney in the legal department of a bank. I’ve been with the bank for twelve years and have no plans of leaving as I continue to grow my career.
Outside of work, I’m a big Minnesota sports fan and love going to games. I adore traveling and am usually planning my next trip. My friends and I are always up for trying the newest restaurants. I also enjoy quiet nights at home spent playing the piano, crocheting, and reading the latest pick from my book club.

MY HOME AND FAMILY
I own a home in a charming neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I moved here eleven years ago, drawn to the family-friendly area with plans to raise children here. The elementary school, one of the top public schools in the county, is two blocks from my home. And in three blocks the other direction is one of Minnesota’s 10,000 beautiful lakes, complete with swimming beaches, playgrounds, and bike paths. In the summer, the lake bandshell hosts concerts, outdoor movies, and summer festivals. When the weather becomes cold, it becomes a winter wonderland as the place for ice skating, sledding hills, and winter festivals. We make full use of all our seasons in Minnesota. There is also a small neighborhood “downtown” area with wonderful restaurants, the local library branch, and, my personal favorite, the ice cream shop.
I share my neighborhood with my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and niece.
We live just a few blocks apart and I love being so close to them. We get together quite often, whether it be grilling dinner on the deck, playing at the park, or meeting up at the neighborhood farmers market. My parents are just a short car ride away. They will play important roles in raising a child as well. I also have many friends who are rooting for my success in my adoption plan and have already offered their support.
FUN FACTS AND FAVORITES
Not So Secret Talent: I’m a classically trained pianist. I started lessons at age 6 and studied through college.
Favorite Way to Unwind: I get outside and walk around the lake while listening to an audiobook.
A Cause I’m Passionate About: I do volunteer legal work for voter’s rights.
Favorite Nerdy Hobby: I love to crochet and make gifts for my friends and family.
How I Explore the World: I am a lifelong learner. When I travel, I enjoy exploring museums, visiting historical landmarks, eating the local cuisine, and attending performances or events.
