Hi, from sunny West Palm Beach, Florida.
We have been together for over five years and married for two and a half. After suffering infertility, we have fully embraced our adoption journey in order to help us complete our family, and offer a child a loving, multicultural home. We hope you enjoy getting to know us a little bit and look forward to the chance to possibly get to know you.
OUR STORY TOLD BY URSULA
Malcolm and I were both on Match.com,
but we did not meet until my dad scrolled through the profiles and chose Malcolm for me. After a little convincing, I agreed to reach out to Malcolm and to give him my phone number. On a sunny day in November 2018, while eating ice cream with my parents, Malcolm called me and sang to me in German. Since then, not one day has passed, that we have not talked to each other. And, to make it even better, he invited my parents to our second date, and we watched the Miami Heat play (and win!) in Miami. That definitely sealed the deal!!

OUR HOME AND FAMILIES
We live in a gated, country club golf-community in the suburbs of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Our home sits on a half-acre lot and is approximately 3,000 square feet. We have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so we enjoy having friends and family come stay with us. Our neighborhood is quiet, safe, and multicultural. We have people from all over the United States, Canada, South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. We have made some very good friends who were all excited to hear that we are in the process of adopting a child.
Our Loved Ones By Ursula:
My sister, Sonja, is also my best friend; despite her still living in Austria. We talk on the phone every day and we see each other at least twice a year. She stays with Malcolm and me for at least a month every summer and we go to Disney or a beach vacation together or have a slumber party in our PJs reminiscing about fond moments in our childhood or goals for our future. She is an elementary school teacher and passionate about her students and her family. My parents also still live in Austria. We also talk to each other several times a week and see each other in the US and in Austria every year. My dad grew up in an orphanage for years and knows the value of family and love and is showering us with his love in abundance. My mother is the personification of a true angel and the most patient, kind and loving person I have ever met. Despite her being more the quiet type, she is amazingly strong and has overcome some health challenges that border close to a miracle. I am proud to have them by my side at each step of this journey.
Our Loved Ones By Malcolm:
My important people are my strong-willed 84-year old mother, my brother and sister, and my four nieces, one of whom was adopted. Our family traditionally spends holidays and joint vacations together. Our goal as a family is to spend as much time with my mother as possible so that, as the matriarch of her family, she can feel the deep love and appreciation we have for her.
