We are excited to share our story with you. We have always wanted to be parents and after experiencing infertility for several years we knew that adoption was the path for us. We are surrounded by family with small children and look forward to the day when a baby will join in on the fun.

ABOUT US
We met in 2002 through Samantha's aunt, who worked with dan.
Dan lived in Arizona and the beginning of our relationship was long distance. We talked on the phone regularly and really got to know each other. Dan is a true romantic and on our first date he took Samantha to the Grand Canyon. The connection was instant! We knew that we wanted to spend our lives together and Dan moved to be closer to Samantha and her family. Dan proposed to Samantha surrounded by their family and friends. Samantha was so in shock she forgot to say YES!
Fun Facts About Us
We love traveling and visiting local museums, aquariums and zoos. We enjoy finding obscure places that have unique points of interest, from history to famous people from that place.
We love watching movies, especially holiday movies.
Fall is our favorite season. We love the crisp fall air, pumpkin carving, apple picking and watching the colors change on the trees.
OUR FAMILIES
We feel so blessed to have such great people in our lives.
Samantha is an only child and Dan has two brothers and a sister that he is very close with. We have 9 wonderful nieces and nephews, who always reminisce about how much fun their uncle was when they were little. Uncle Dan is there when they need advice, to help fix dirt bikes or just navigating tough situations. They are looking forward to having a new addition to join the family.
Sam’s mother is her best friend. She is the most amazing woman and Sam thinks if she can be half the mother that she is to her, our child will be very lucky.
Our family is a lot of fun and when we see them it always feels like home. Holidays are a big event for us. We love entertaining, making the big dinners our specialty is our Christmas gingerbread house contest while eating Sam’s mom’s famous cheesecake. Everyone always looks forward to coming together and enjoying each other’s company.
Dan's family lives in different states but he makes sure to stay connected with all of them, whether through text, snapchat, etc. Samantha knew since meeting his family that he would be an amazing dad and it’s something she fell in love with most about him.
OUR HOME
We have the best of two worlds living in a smaller town but being close enough to drive to Chicago to enjoy all of the amazing food and entertainment.
We both love baseball and go to Wrigley field and Sox Park to check out games as often as we can. On the weekends we like to check out live music, local museums, aquariums and zoos and look forward to having a baby to share these moments with. Our community is surrounded by farms and they host many fun family events.
Louie is our new addition, a labordoodle, full of life and energy. He is so loving and has brought so much joy to our home. We now think our family and friends come over to see him more than us. Louie will be a therapy dog when he finishes his training and will be able to safely run and play with a child.
