We live just outside of St. Louis. We were both born and raised in the area and have been together since 2013. Since we met, we have always known we wanted to share our lives with children.
Due to infertility we haven’t been able to conceive a biological child, but we are so excited about adoption and the chance to share our lives with a little one.
Our home is filled with love, peace and laughter and we are excited to share that. We want you to know that our lives are open to you now and forever. Having a relationship with you will always be an important part of our lives.
ABOUT US
We met the way so many people meet now – we met on Match.com!
It seems like such a silly thing to say because after that first meeting, it was like we had known each other forever. For our first date, we met to watch a St. Louis Cardinal’s playoff game and the date lasted over 5 hours! You learn a lot about someone in 5 hours, but one thing we learned is how much we have in common. We had so many similarities in how we grew up. In fact, we think we might have crossed paths as kids in the local mall!
Most importantly, we learned we had the same ideas about what we wanted our futures to look like. We wanted a family and life filled with love and memory making. We have created that family with just the two of us, but long to share it with a child. We have imagined our future and can’t wait to add to the love and memories.
We want to teach our kids about family, love and living a life to be proud of.
HOME SWEET HOME
We live in Illinois
Our home is on a cul-de-sac and there are always lots of kids playing outside. We have a big fenced back yard just waiting for a child to make it their playground. We also have a lot of parks nearby and we think we have the most amazing zoo in the country in St. Louis.
We are lucky to live in a place that has all four seasons but our favorite place to go is one of the many farms for apple picking and the pumpkin patch in the fall. Of course, both of these, will be much more fun with a child!
Our FURRY FRIENDS
We have a dog and two cats. Brewster is a Cocker Spaniel who likes to sleep, beg for food and aggravate the cats. Morris and Marvin, our cats, are the best of friends until Marvin gets on Morris’s nerves. Ironically, they love to sleep, beg for food and aggravate the dog! They bring us a lot of laughter, joy, warm laps and pet glitter (what others call pet hair!).
