We’ve been married for two wonderful years, filled with laughter, adventure, and a shared dream of growing our family. Our home is filled with love, creativity, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. We can’t wait to share these experiences with a child and create lasting memories as a family.

OUR STORY
We have been together for nearly six years and happily married for two; our relationship blossomed over ice cream dates and fun game nights with friends. Our wedding two years ago, filled with the magic of Christmas, was a celebration of love and family, surrounded by those who mean the most to us. We live in a charming small town in Connecticut with our two beloved dogs, Mocha Latte and Macchiato. Our home is a place of warmth and laughter, where we enjoy cozy game nights, tending to our garden, and dreaming of our next Disney adventure. Family is at the heart of everything we do. We cherish the time spent with our parents, siblings, and cousins throughout the year, and we’re eager to expand our family through adoption.
We are choosing adoption because we believe this is the best choice for us to grow our family. Marissa has hormonal imbalances that would make it hard to conceive naturally and we do not want to pursue infertility treatment. We are surrounded by many family members and friends who have been adopted and can see the many blessings that come from this process. We are open to open and closed adoptions and will be following your lead in how much communication you would like to receive.
We can’t wait to share our love, joy, and experiences with a child, creating lasting memories together.
OUR HOME
We reside in the charming town of Salem, Connecticut, which we initially chose for its ideal location—perfectly situated between our two families.
The area’s proximity to the ocean, combined with its tranquil, countryside ambiance, truly captured our hearts. We were also impressed by the highly-rated school systems, a significant factor in our decision to settle here as we plan for our future family. After three wonderful years in this tight-knit community, we’ve come to appreciate the small-town vibe that often feels like something out of a movie, where neighbors are always ready to lend a helping hand.
OUR FAMILIES
We both grew up in large families filled not only with siblings but also cousins we grew up alongside.
Our families are a top priority for us, and each brings its own unique blend of love and nurturing. Nicholas’ family, rooted in devout faith, has instilled a strong moral compass in him and his siblings. Every year, we gather at Hilton Head Island for a family beach trip, cherishing the time spent together. Marissa’s family, grounded in modesty, embraces tradition and humor, which shines through during our annual “Kid’s Crafty Day,” where all the cousins create holiday-themed crafts. We even share a fantasy football league. It’s rare for weeks to pass without a family gathering, as we make it a point to celebrate both sides of our families together. Our families are more than thrilled to welcome an adopted child. Between the both of us we have more family and friends who have been adopted than we can count on our fingers.
