We are Maria, Barrett and Maya from Austin Texas. We are very thankful you are reading our profile! We hope this storybook gives you a clear understanding of who we are and what your baby's life would be like as a part of our family.
We were fortunate enough to have our daughter Maya 3.5 years ago, however we were met with some medical complications that led to an emergency c-section 4 weeks early. After speaking with our doctor and learning the condition could reoccur with a future pregnancy, adoption became our first choice to grow our family. Maya increasingly shows a huge love for our friends and family's babies and has made it clear that she wants to be a big sister!
As you turn through the pages of this book, may you see what we will provide, and feel how excited we are for your baby to join our family. Your baby is incredibly blessed to call you their first mom/family, and our hope is to keep an open relationship with you as they grow!
OUR STORY
We met on a ranch, on December 9th, 2016 by a campfire at Maria's best friends 30th birthday party.
Barrett was the second person I said hi to when I arrived and we had an instant connection, which lead to many logs being thrown on the fire that night. It wasn't until the next day that we realized Barrett had know my uncle and cousins for 6 years prior! Shared interest for the outdoors, along with rich moral principals have led us to where we are now.

OUR HOME
We live in a very fun and laidback neighborhood just off Lake Austin. We are so lucky to have lots of wonderful neighbors that all have young kids. Several days a week we are all playing in our front yard and driveway together. We play pickle ball, ride scooters and bikes, and play with chalk and bubbles.
On colder evenings, we are often sitting around the camp fire with everyone and in the summer months we spend a lot of time in our backyard grilling and swimming. Our neighborhood also has a lake park that we love. It's a really fun way to meet new neighbors and let the kids run around and play or swim. The park also has family moved nights there that are a blast! Barrett and I both grew up on boats and one of our favorite activities away from home is taking friends and family out water skiing or just cruising on the lake.
