Hello! We are Lauren & Scott along with our son, Zeke.
We are hoping that through this book you will be able to see the love we have for each other, for our son and the love we could provide to another little one.

Adoption has always been a part of our story.
What we did not realize was that God had different plans for us. After several years of trying to conceive, we found out that adoption would be the way we would become parents and create the family that we've always dreamt of having. We adopted Zeke in 2020, and are so excited about the possibility of raising your child with Zeke.
Our STORY
WRITTEN BY LAUREN:
We were introduced though my next door neighbor in the summer of 2008. It did not take long before the two of us became inseparable.
We enjoyed going to Cincinnati Reds baseball games, spending time with friends and traveling together. In 2015 and after seven years of dating, we were vacationing in the Caribbean and about to go out to eat for dinner. He told me I was missing something on my dress and as I turned around, he was on his knee proposing. I was shocked! We married the following year in an outdoor ceremony with our closest family and friends.

OUR HOME AND FAMILY
We live in a suburb of Northern Kentucky and have restaurants, parks, swimming pools and farmers markets nearby. We LOVE it!
Not only is this area a safe place to live, but they also ranked in the top three national ranking for the best school system. In less than five minutes we can visit Cincinnati and all the wonderful things this beautiful city has to offer.
We love spending as much time as possible outside. We have a large backyard that will provide a child with plenty of opportunities to jump, climb, skip and let their imagination run wild. We live in a neighborhood with families and children of all different cultural backgrounds. With all of our incredible neighbors, your child would be able to experience days and nights of giggles, outdoor movies, kickball games, Halloween parades and neighborhood block parties.

Zeke is our happy little three year old. He is full of energy and fun! He is loving, adventurous and inquisitive.
Zeke is biracial (Caucasian/African American), and was adopted from Florida in 2020. We have an open adoption with his birth family. His birth mother and I were able to create an amazing relationship before his birth and I was able to be with her and support her during labor. We continue to communicate with one another often and our relationship continues to evolve.
