Ever since we were young we knew in our hearts that adoption was how we wanted to grow our family and we are so excited for the day that we can share our love and home with a child.

ABOUT US
We met The old-Fashioned way- Online dating!
We have been together for three years and married for one. We recently moved to a more diverse and inclusive community with great schools and three houses away from a park.
On a normal night you can find us at home relaxing with our cat Patches, watching TV, working on home projects (we just moved, and the list never ends!), or taking a walk. We are also a big board game house, though Dale may be slightly more competitive than Kim.
We love adventure!
While we each have our own hobbies, together we are a camping family! Pitch our tent out in the woods, cook dinner over the fire, and have a good time! We would love to teach our child the beauty of nature and the joy that can be found in the great outdoors.
HOME SWEET HOME
We recently moved to a new home in a college town in Michigan. We moved to be part of a more diverse and liberal community. We love our new neighborhood; there is a small park three houses down from us, kids playing throughout the subdivision, and it's part of one of the best school districts in the state. And that doesn’t even touch how much we love our house itself. Maybe it’s the basement craft room, or the back deck surrounded by trees. It’s a great place to relax, and we think it will be a great place for a little one to play.
MEET PATCHES
Patches is the little fluff ball that brings us so much joy. She is a four-year-old Calico who rules our house. She loves to play with string, needs attention 24/7, and struggles with personal boundaries as she will get in your face to let you know she NEEDS that attention. And don’t even think about walking past the treats or you’ll get an earful!
OUR FAMILY & FRIENDS
We both come from big families, with three sisters on Dale’s side, two brothers and a sister on Kim’s side, and nine nieces and nephews between them! Most of our family is local, with Kim’s parents and grandparents living within close driving distance, so we love to host family dinners! We are also fortunate enough to have many close friends who have become family.
We make it a habit to plan trips to see our family, with them coming to us at least once a year and us going to see them as well. And of course, at least one summer holiday with the whole gang! Though sometimes our family monopoly game can get a little competitive. Kim’s brother is even designing our own family Monopoly board.
