We previously tried growing our family, but it didn’t work out. Now we know that adoption is the path for us to become parents and expand our happy home. We are already a family of adoption; Kate’s sister was adopted. Although we are not in your shoes, we can only imagine you want to feel connected to a family and their heart’s intention for your baby’s life. We appreciate you considering us. We have so much love to share with you and your baby!
ABOUT US
Our love story began online.
After our first date, Kate wasn’t sure how it went. David admitted he felt a bit shy, but he called Kate on his ride home and we talked late into the night. We shared our dreams and vulnerabilities and built our connection, discovering we both wanted to become parents! We’re so excited to explore life with our little one – from early morning bottles and snuggles, to playing at the beach and the neighborhood pool, to exploring our forested backyard, traveling and exploring different cultures, and fun gatherings with family and friends.

OUR HOME AND FAMILIES
In Connecticut, we enjoy the variety of all four seasons and easy trips to Boston and New York City. Our home has a lot of natural light and plants. It’s warm, comfortable, and cozy. Everyone enjoys its laid back and welcoming vibe. We have an inviting back deck that looks out at our large yard with hammocks, bird feeders, bird houses and a bird bath. It’s like a nature sanctuary. When we have our friends and their kids over, we play corn hole. Our neighbors have 2-year-old twin boys, so the kids can cut through the backyard to play together. We live in a suburban community that is very welcoming and has excellent schools. It is safe and walkable and offers so much to do, especially for families.
Our family loves to wear silly hats when we get together!
We spend most holidays with Dave’s parents. They can’t wait to become grandparents. Dave’s brother and his wife are excited to be an uncle and aunt too. At the end of each visit together, we share a group hug. We can’t wait for when our baby can join in!
Kate’s side of the family meets in Florida to celebrate the winter holidays. Kate is close to her siblings. Her sister was adopted from South Korea as a baby. She and her husband and their 3-year-old son live nearby. We are excited to see the 2 cousins grow up together. Kate’s brother and sister-in-law love to travel, they can’t wait to travel with their new niece or nephew. Kate’s friend Maya and her godson Kaleb live a short distance away. Kaleb can’t wait to take on a “big brother” role. We are fortunate to have loved ones close.

Has visited 20 countries and has done public health work in Africa
Taught yoga and meditation to teens.
