We would like to thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us.
We hope to learn more about you in the future but can already say you are so strong and brave. We can’t imagine what this journey has been like for you and are deeply honored to be considered as parents for your child. We recognize that you’re making an important and courageous decision and hope to support you in any way we can. Words cannot express what becoming parents again would mean to us. We hope that this profile will provide you a snapshot of who we are, and more importantly the life your child would have as a part of our family. We pledge to raise your child in a home full of laughter and hugs, bedtime stories, summer days at the pool, and snowy days sipping hot cocoa.
OUR STORY
Our adventure together began 8 years ago when we met each other on an online dating site.
On New Year’s Eve Jackie messaged Brandon suggesting his New Year’s resolution should be to ask her out on date. On our fourth date over chocolate chip pancakes Jackie had a gut feeling that Brandon was the man she was meant to marry. The rest, as they say, is history!
We continue to fall more in love with each other as our relationship grows. We support each other unconditionally and make each other laugh. We share the same faith in God, compassion for others, and value family above all else. We have always known that we wanted to become parents; after struggling with infertility, we made the decision to build our family through adoption. We were blessed to adopt our son, Maverick, nearly two years ago. Jackie is a stay-at-home Mom and Brandon is a nurse. Life for us now is filled with family meals, days at the park, and walks with our dogs Bella and Piper. Nothing would fill our hearts more than to have the opportunity to grow our family through adoption again.

JACKIE TALKS ABOUT BRANDON
Brandon has a huge heart and always lets me know he loves and appreciates me. I love his sense of humor; he always has me laughing! He has such a positive attitude that really is contagious, it makes me believe anything is possible. I admire his ability to remain calm under pressure both at home and at work as a nurse. Over the course of our six-year marriage I have found that there is nothing I can’t share with him. He supports me in whatever I set out to do. He is my rock and best friend, and I just know he will always be there for me.
He is a dedicated, patient, and fun-loving Dad. Watching him become a father has been a highlight in our marriage. He loves the simple things about fatherhood like going to the playground, rocking Maverick to sleep, or Saturday morning pancakes and cartoons. He never misses an opportunity to crack a “Dad joke” and does the best rendition of Old McDonald Had a Farm. There is no-one else I would rather call my partner in raising our family.

Brandon TALKS ABOUT Jackie
Jackie is the yin to my yang; she balances me out and makes me the best version of myself. Her heart is full of love and empathy for others. Jackie sees the best in everyone she meets. She has this infectious laugh that can light up a room. I love how outgoing and bubbly she is, always making those around her smile and feel at ease. She is thoughtful and values time with her family and friends. She is dedicated and passionate about life. She’s a planner, whether it is coordinating our next Disney trip or the perfect brunch, she’s on top of it.
She’s always making sure our son is laughing, learning, or getting plenty of cuddles. Since becoming a mother I have fallen even more in love with Jackie. She is nurturing and encourages Maverick to be brave and curious of the world around him. She takes joy in the simple things as a Mom like bedtime lullabies and bubble baths. To know Jackie is to know she is meant to be a Mom.

We adopted our son Maverick nearly 2 years ago. He was born 1,200 miles away from where we lived, but we hopped on a plane and were there to meet him less than 24 hours later. We feel so fortunate to have a growing relationship with his birth mother and believe open adoption has allowed for everyone to feel more connected and supported.
Maverick is silly and kind-hearted. he enjoys playing with his cousins and meeting new friends at the park. He is quite the little fishy at the pool and loves to dance to any song by The Beatles. Maverick will be so excited to have a little brother or sister to share all his best hide-and-go-seek spots with! We can’t wait to complete our happy little family!
Our Hobbies & Interests
We love being outside and enjoy day trips to the beach and family hikes.
We love to travel, especially to Disney and typically go once a year. We are big kids at heart and still enjoy the rides and shows. We just know seeing Disney through the eyes of a child will be like seeing it for the first time and look forward to all the magic to come! We are both sport fans, mainly football and baseball and love going to home games. Brandon is an avid reader and a history buff who loves photography. Jackie loves baking new recipes and practicing yoga.
As a family we enjoy going to the zoo to feed the giraffes, visiting local orchards for pick-your-own produce, and exploring local gardens and parks. We like to pack-up and go to the playground or pool for a picnic. We enjoy a good move night at home with candy and popcorn.
We are so looking forward to making memories with your child doing our favorite family pastimes.
THE PLACE WE CALL HOME
we love our neighborhood and community
We moved into our current home in Pennsylvania about a year ago to be closer to our families. Our home is where we spend most of our time together- we have an open kitchen and living room that is ideal for meals and get togethers. Upstairs we have a loft that we have turned into the perfect kid zone full of bright colors, books, and games. We are designing a nursery that we hope will be peaceful, playful, and transitional that will grow with your child as they get older. Our neighborhood has a beautiful walking trail, swimming pool, and playground. Our yard is great for playing catch or running through a sprinkler! We have great schools that are known for their excellent elementary education. We enjoy community events like our annual Halloween parade and Fall Festival. Our community center offers story time at the library and a nature explorers club. Our church’s youth program and family nights are always so much fun. We are lucky to live just a short drive away from Philadelphia and the Delaware beaches which make for perfect day trips!
OUR LOVED ONES
One of the reasons our hometown appealed to us is that we have a great family network here who makes our little family even stronger.
Jackie’s parents and grandfather live just five minutes down the road making for weekly visits and dinners together. They love to host holidays and spend special one-on-one time with Maverick. We love visiting Brandon’s parents who have an awesome swing set with three slides, baby goats, and a vegetable garden. There’s always so much to do when we visit! While Jackie is an only child, Brandon has two sisters and a brother. Jackie was so excited to gain siblings and loves being a part of a big family! We are always up for a good game night; Brandon is undefeated in Risk! Our family is so supportive of our hope to adopt again. You could say adoption is just part of our family- Maverick has three adopted cousins and his godmother is adopted as well! Our church family’s prayers and support during our adoption journey has meant so much to us. Our friends are like family to us; we enjoy doing the simple things like pizza and football with the kids. They say it takes a village, and we cannot wait to grow ours with a new little one.

It is hard to summarize our whole lives in one booklet, but we hope we were able to give you an idea of who we are as a family. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for considering us to be a part of your child’s life. We understand that this may be a challenging time, and we appreciate the wide range of emotions that you must be feeling. We hope to navigate this experience together and support you in any way we can. We want you to know how incredibly brave you are. We believe that once we connect, start to talk, and get to know each other the process starts to become more real and a little less scary. We know that this decision is one that will forever connect us, and we do not take that lightly.
