We live in Colorado with our daughter, Blake. We are grateful to have your consideration in this journey. We’d be delighted to get to know you and learn about your story.
Creating a stable and loving environment is our top priority for our daughter Blake and future children joining our family.
Our hope is to build an on-going relationship with you and the baby. Blake is hopeful that she will get to wear the title “big sister” one day soon.
The last few years we have dealt with infertility and has us excited to expand our family through the gift of adoption. We are eager and open to all babies and becoming a transracial family committed to understand culture and diversity. We hope this profile gives you a glimpse into our lives, what we value, how we parent, and most importantly – the life your baby will have with us growing up in our family.
HOW WE MET, BY CLAIRE
We met while completing our Masters program at Colorado State University and started dating in the spring of 2011 and have been together now for 10 years.
James and I bonded instantly due to our similar values: family, the outdoors, staying active and creating financial security and success. Our courtship included enjoying our “city life” in Denver, but most of our time was spent in the mountains where James’ family was based. Our early years and through today, we have spent much of our time outdoors. We supported each other through meeting and chasing our goals, whether it was training for a marathon or buying our first house together. We got married in the summer of 2015 in Colorado surrounded by our family and friends.
Our relationship is steady, loving, uplifting for ourselves and our daughter, Blake.
OUR HOME

We love our neighborhood being walking distance from the elementary school, a golf course and also miles of trails for running and biking for families. Our neighborhood is full of kids who play together outside daily. Every holiday has a special get together in a small town to bring our community together. We love our spacious home and can’t wait to welcome another child. It has an open floor plan with four bedrooms and an upstairs room set for a baby to be next door to their big sister, Blake! We have a play area in the basement that our daughter and cousins love to take advantage of playing make belief in and letting their imagination go wild building forts and playing house. Our family enjoys all four seasons in the mountains - we are a 20 minute drive from World Class Ski Resorts in Vail and Beaver Creek where we all downhill ski in the winter and then a short drive for miles of wilderness where we spend the summer and spring camping, hiking, biking and running.
