We have thought about adoption since day one of our twelve-year marriage. It has always been on our minds and we are excited to be where we are now and ready to adopt!
Our whole family cannot wait to love on a new baby and be a part of their amazing life.
We can’t wait to teach your baby everything and see where his heart guides him. Whoever he is and whatever he does, we can’t wait to cheer him on and guide him in anyway he needs. We cannot wait for the day our girls can meet their baby brother!
We will strive to keep the bond between you and your baby as close as you wish. We would love for you and your family to be involved in not only the baby’s life, but a part of our family. We are open to all forms of adoption and promise to follow your comfort level in our relationship as well.
ABOUT US
how two people from a small town started a career in the army and now love raising our kids in a wonderful “melting pot”!
We both come from a small town in Missouri. Joining the Army and getting married young, we have lived in many areas. Georgia, specifically the Atlanta area, is our favorite place. It is a “melting pot” with so many different people and cultures.
We didn’t see much diversity in our small town growing up, so as parents, we love that our children are constantly learning about new people and things. We have met and became close with a family from Egypt and a family from Norway; we hang out with them almost every week. The girls are in class with children whose parents come from China, Africa, India and Japan. We love learning about all the different cultures around us!

OUR HOME
We have just moved to a suburb north of Atlanta, Georgia.
It is a relatively small neighborhood of newly built houses so everyone is pretty fresh to the neighborhood. We just built a four-bedroom home and recently moved in. We have a backyard that backs into a creek with plenty of room to play and explore. There is a whole room waiting for a new baby.
We love the location of the house and luckily have a new Publix nearby. One of our favorite parts of the house is out our bedroom window we can see some of the North Georgia Mountains where we hope to spend more time exploring and camping in!
OUR FAMILY
We have three incredible girls, Emalynn 10, Makenzie 7, and Zoey 4.
They are all super excited about having a baby brother and I can’t think of three girls that are more ready for it!
Emalynn is super athletic; she does gymnastics and she’s in 4th grade. She spends her time playing with friends or riding scooters.
Makenzie is our social butterfly. She’ll spend every moment with her loved ones. She’s in 1st grade and started reading and swimming.
Zoey is our mother hen. She’s in Pre-K and loves to act like a little mom. She points out every baby and likes to every one she sees.
We have all four of our parents, two Papas, one Gaga, and one Mie, as well as two great grandmas.
There are seven aunts/uncles with 1-6 kids each (6 months old up to 19 years old). So... there is no shortage of cousins during our trips to visit family! We visit family twice a year and have at least three visits a year in Georgia from the family so our kids rarely go more than a few months without seeing grandparents or cousins. Our parents are retired and like to have extended trips staying with us for a month or two at times. We try to make our visits last 1 to 2 weeks so we cram as much in those trips as we can. From visiting amusement parks, eating good BBQ, cousin sleepovers, or doing seasonal activities when we are home, we always have a blast!

Cati: A day out with my family anywhere. The beach, park, shopping, zoo, museum, bike riding and movies.
Trevan: Sleeping in with a French toast breakfast, catching a baseball game, then finishing with a movie night.
