Hi there! My name is Bethany

My name is Bethany. I'm a 37 year old single woman looking to start my journey of motherhood.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little about me. I've spent my entire life waiting to become a mother, and before I even knew I wasn't able to have children, I wanted to explore adoption. I'd like to be respectful of your decisions in the future, but I'd love to have an open adoption. I want you to be as involved in this child's life as you feel comfortable with.

I live in middle Tennessee, about 15-20 miles outside of Nashville.

My home is in a recently built neighborhood with lots of young families and young children. My community also has a playground, a park, splash pad, and greenway within just a couple miles. I have a very close family. My brother is my best friend, and I talk to both of my parents at least once a week. For this reason, I've always wanted to go on my own journey as a parent. I'm so thankful for my family and am so excited to add a new perfect little addition (and hopefully you too) to the wonderful support system I have. I really appreciate that you are taking the time to get to know me, and I hope to get to know you better soon!

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

One of the most important things in my life is relationships with family and friends.

My family and my friends mean everything to me. Just to know that I have a group of supporters that would do anything for me and my child.

I love being outside! I go to my local park regularly to play disc golf, and I love taking my dogs on walks! I also am a huge hockey fan! My team is the Nashville predators, and I have season tickets right beside my parents. Really, I'm just a huge fan of watching sports in general. I'm also a big fan of going to the movies or just snuggling up with my animals and watching them at home.

I love science and have worked in a laboratory for the last 16 years. I have worked very hard there to get to a leadership position at my company. Just like pretty much any other job, there are hard days, but I've always put importance on keeping my work life and personal life separate.

“Once I become a mother, I can't wait for my child and me to go explore the outdoors, go to hockey games, and have some fun in our community with our family and friends!”

HOME SWEET HOME

I grew up in middle Tennessee, and while Nashville is booming and expanding, my favorite part about where I live is the hometown feel.

There are farms and lakes everywhere, awesome restaurants and green space, and everyone is family! It doesn't hurt that the majority of my actual family lives within 30 minutes of my house. There are national parks, amusement parks, dog parks, and any other park you can think of. My parents have a boat, and we love going out on the lake a few times every summer. Also, for a quick getaway, I love driving a couple of hours away to go to Gatlinburg in the mountains.

IN CLOSING

Thank you for getting to know me!

I hope to get the opportunity to get to know you, too. I've never been more ready to go on this new journey of motherhood, and I am so grateful that you are taking the time to consider walking this path together.

I can't wait to watch my child grow and help them learn and figure out who they are and who they want to be. I believe that the most important thing I can teach my child is to love unconditionally and help others when they have the means to do so. I want to reiterate that I am interested in an open adoption, and would love for you to be a part of my family, too. I'll always be respectful of how much you want to be involved. I promise you that I will be the best mother I can be. I'll probably make a mistake or two along the way, but I'll do right by your decision to give me this opportunity. I will love and care for this precious child and put their well-being, safety, and happiness above all else, while instilling a passion for kindness, love, and compassion for others.
